Calling & Ministry : Called to China at age 17, James Hudson Taylor founded the China Inland Mission in 1865, emphasizing reaching China's unreached interior regions. His mission became the largest Protestant mission organization in China. Sacrifices: Buried four children in China, endured multiple illnesses, faced persecution and the Boxer Rebellion. Lost his beloved wife Maria after 12 years of marriage. Impact: Over 800 missionaries served under his leadership, establishing 300 mission stations and contributing to 18,000 Chinese conversions. His approach influenced modern missions strategy. Death: Died in Changsha, China, on June 3, 1905, at age 73, still serving on the mission field.
